Kamakura Beer opens Father’s Day preorders for West Coast IPA sets
Kamakura Beer Brewing has started taking preorders for its Father’s Day limited beer, Father Ko Koko Beer, a West Coast IPA. The lineup includes 3-, 5-, and 12-bottle sets, with shipments starting on June 10.
Kamakura Beer Brewing announced on Instagram on June 4 that it has opened preorders for its Father’s Day beer, "Father Ko Koko Beer" (a West Coast IPA). The brewery is offering three set sizes through its online shop: a 3-bottle set, a 5-bottle gift-box set, and a 12-bottle home-stock set. Shipments begin sequentially on June 10, and Father’s Day delivery is available. Factory pickup is also supported.
The beer follows a classic malt-and-hop recipe. According to the brewery, it uses twice its usual hop load, then dry-hops the beer to build a fresh, grassy aroma and firm bitterness rather than a citrus-forward profile. At 6.0% ABV, it is designed to finish dry and stay drinkable rather than sweet.

Kamakura Beer is based in Kamakura, Kanagawa, and describes itself as a brewery born and raised in Kamakura. As the city’s only brewery, it has long positioned its beers as local gifts and food-friendly table companions. This year’s Father’s Day release continues that approach, with a Kamakura Ham Tomioka set also in preparation.
