Nutori Brewing taps three Butterfly Brewery beers from Aichi; joint project on April 5 too
Nutori Brewing in Kawaguchi, Saitama, announced that it has tapped three beers from Aichi's Butterfly Brewery. With rain expected to intensify into the evening, it is asking customers to watch their step and enjoy beer at the shop.
Kawaguchi, Saitama's Nutori Brewing has put three beers from Aichi's Butterfly Brewery on tap. They are being introduced as a lineup that is not often available in the Kanto region, drawing attention as a chance to taste them at the Kawaguchi taproom.
In its post, the brewery said that although the rain in Kawaguchi had temporarily let up as of daytime, it is forecast to strengthen again toward the evening, and it is asking visitors to watch their footing when coming to the shop. Even on a day with unstable weather, the message is to let people enjoy a drink at the shop.
It also announced a plan for Sunday, April 5, following the Butterfly & Nutori Joint Running Club, called Cheers with Nutori's Aichi Meal. Rather than simply announcing a new tap, it is a Nutori-style event that connects drinking, running, and eating in one flow.
Nutori Brewing is a brewery that brews beer using Kawaguchi water and serves it at its company-run taproom and restaurant, Beer Shokudo Nutori, attached to the brewery. Centering on a space where beer and food can be enjoyed together, its locally rooted operating style in Kawaguchi is one of its defining features. Introducing guest beer like this can be seen as a move that shows both its flexibility and its ties with outside breweries.
On this day, it is also Saturday Representative and Madam Day, when the representative and the landlady run the shop, and they are said to welcome customers while preparing dote-ni and anko inside. Being able to enjoy not only craft beer but also how it pairs with food is one of Nutori Brewing's strengths.
