Setouchi Brewery Announces 'SETOUCHI NZ PALE ALE' with a Sheep Label
Setouchi Brewery (Takamatsu, Kagawa) shared its new product, 'SETOUCHI NZ PALE ALE,' on Instagram. With a sheep label that evokes New Zealand, this is a beer that highlights aromas reminiscent of lime and pineapple, along with a biscuit-like finish.
Setouchi Brewery has newly announced "SETOUCHI NZ PALE ALE." In the post, it is introduced as a beer that aims for the lightness and refinement typical of a New Zealand pale ale, and its alcohol content is 5.0%. The orange-based minimalist design and sheep-themed label are also striking.
Its aroma profile combines the freshness of lime and pineapple with a subtle biscuit-like aftertaste. It is presented as a beer for nights when you want to relax while still staying true to yourself. Rather than pushing a loud personality, it is built to make you want to pick it up for its easy-drinking character and approachable design.
The label's background also shows the brewery's playful spirit. In the post, it was revealed that, from the association that New Zealand means sheep, a rough sketch was shared with the designer in which the arch shape was imagined as a sheep. The resulting visual is a good example of how a simple idea was neatly turned into a finished product.
Sales are available at the bottle shop "Riverside 351" attached to the brewery and through the online store. Setouchi Brewery is a Takamatsu, Kagawa brewery that continues to make products that make use of the Inland Sea region's character. This new release is another carefully crafted item that engages thoughtfully with both design and flavor.
