Kanpai Stand SHIBUYA will begin a Niigata and Sado craft beer feature on September 7. The lineup includes eight taps in total, split evenly between `tOki brewery` on Sado Island and `Otama Brewing / SANWA LAB` on the Niigata mainland.

Otama Brewing is a microbrewery based in the Sanwa area of Joetsu, Niigata. On its official site, the brewery describes a focus on local ingredients and local character, while aiming for beers that feel good from the first sip. Its core lineup includes Pale Ale, IPA, Hazy IPA, and Saison.

Otama Brewing's four beers in this feature are:

- `Port of Cheers` | West Coast Pilsner, 5.5%. Bright aroma and a crisp bitterness.
- `YUKIYAMA WEEKENDER` | Cold IPA, 5.5%. Brewed with Joetsu-grown `Niji no Kirameki` rice and a strong hop character.
- `HARUMACHI HAZY IPA` | Hazy IPA, 6.0%. Juicy fruit notes with restrained bitterness.
- `MAJO NO ODEKAKE` | Oatmeal Stout, 6.0%. Roasted malt character with a smooth body.

For drinkers in Tokyo, the feature offers a chance to compare Otama Brewing's balance of approachability and character alongside other Niigata and Sado beers.
