VERTERE Announces Gose & Sour Pack Featuring Four Sour Beers
VERTERE, the Okutama-based brewery in western Tokyo, will release a four-beer sour pack called “Gose & Sour Pack” at 12:00 on June 19. The set brings together pomegranate, peach, lime, and mint-driven beers for an easy side-by-side tasting of the brewery’s sour-beer approach.
VERTERE is a craft beer brewery based in Okutama, Tokyo. On its official site, the brewery says it imagines not only the beer itself, but also who will drink it, where it will be enjoyed, and how it will be experienced.
In an Instagram post, VERTERE announced an online-only release called Gose & Sour Pack. Sales begin at 12:00 on June 19. The pack includes four beers:
- Zela / Pomegranate Sour
- Persica / Peach Gose
- Nox / Sour IPA
- Pieris / Lime Sour Saison w/Mint
Zela is described as a sour ale made with pomegranate and fresh chamomile, with a sweet-tart fruit character and a soft floral finish. Persica is a peach gose, Nox is a sour IPA, and Pieris combines lime and mint in a sour saison. Together, the four beers show how VERTERE layers acidity with different fruits and aromatics.
Rather than a flashy one-off release, this pack feels like a focused tasting set that highlights the brewery’s range within sour styles. For drinkers who enjoy comparing structure, aroma, and finish across styles, it offers a neat snapshot of what VERTERE does well.
