Nori's Beer 'Kai no Midori' Tapped at KAWASAKI Craft Beer Stand by Tokaido Beer
At KAWASAKI Craft Beer Stand by Tokaido Beer in Kawasaki Azalea, Nori's Beer's 'Kai no Midori' has been newly tapped. In addition to Tokaido BEER's regular lineup, guest kegs are also on offer, bringing the total to 18 taps, and a 9-beer all-you-can-drink option is being advertised.
The tap list at the beer pub KAWASAKI Craft Beer Stand by Tokaido Beer, located in the Kawasaki Azalea underground mall directly connected to Kawasaki Station, was updated on March 26. The house focuses on Tokaido BEER's own brews, while also offering a broad lineup that includes guest beers, making it an easy place to stop by between shopping or before heading out for drinks.
The new tap for the day was Nori's Beer's No. 15, 'Kai no Midori.' The style is NanbuCha Ale, 5% ABV, and it is described as a beer brewed with 'Kai no Midori' tea leaves from Nambu Town in Yamanashi Prefecture, aiming for a balance of elegant aroma, tea-derived astringency, and hop bitterness. The key point is that you can enjoy tea-like nuances even though it is beer.
As of 5:10 p.m., there were 18 items on tap. From Tokaido BEER: '1623' IPA, 'Black Relaxation' Porter, 'Blush Pretext' Amber Ale, 'Barley Encounter' Belgian Wheat, 'Kawasaki Big Beer Totonoaeru' Hazy IPA, 'Gordon Setter' English Pale Ale, 'Mugi Bar 2nd Anniversary Kinako-Colored Fluffy Hazy' Hazy IPA, 'Limochiso (red shiso beer)' Saison, and 'FRO AGARI YELL' Herb Ale.
The guest options are worth noting too. From GRANDLINE's 'Mrs. scarlet' Fruited Sour Ale, Fill Brewing's 'MI Casa Tu Casa' Mexican Light Lager, Baeren Brewery's 'Classic' Dortmunder, Kagiya Brewery's 'BRITISH BITTER' Brown Ale, Yamorido's 'Dayeasy' NZ Pale Ale, PECORA BEER's 'Merino' DDH West Coast IPA, Tsukuda Brewery's 'Phoenix Rice Saison,' all the way to Yokohama Beer’s 'West Side Session IPA' Session IPA, the lineup is arranged so it is easy to choose according to your mood.
There is also an announcement for all-you-can-drink with nine Tokaido beers, and a scratch-card event is being held at Azalea as well. The shop allows outside food to be brought in and also supports takeout. It is a place worth checking out both for a proper pint and for a quick, casual drink.
