The craft brewery Minoh Brewery (Minoh Beer), based in Minoh, Osaka, shared sales information for the third installment of its “Peach Weizen” series in an Instagram post on March 5, 2026. According to the announcement confirmed from the post, the third release would go on sale on the online store from 6:00 p.m. that day, with the Shimizu Hakuto Ver. taking center stage this time.

Peach Weizen is one of the brewery’s well-known summer seasonals. According to the official product description, it uses “Arakawa no Momo” peaches from Hachiki Farm in Wakayama Prefecture, and is characterized by a design that layers the freshness of peach over the clove- and banana-like aroma derived from Weizen yeast. By using 50% wheat malt while keeping the sweetness from lingering and finishing it dry, the beer preserves a crisp, beer-like character even as a fruit-forward brew.

The series unfolds as a four-part lineup of the early-season, Hakuhou, Shimizu Hakuto, and Kawanakajima Hakuto varieties, making the differences in harvest timing and peach type directly into a tasting comparison. The third release, Shimizu Hakuto, is described in the official release as having an especially high aroma, making this the chapter in the series that draws attention for how strongly its fragrance stands out.

Minoh Brewery is based in Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture, was founded in 1996, and began brewing in 1997. While grounding itself in classic styles, it has continued seasonal brewing that makes use of locally familiar ingredients such as yuzu and peaches. This third-release announcement is more than just a notice of a limited sale; it also appears to be a yearly update that shows the company’s stance of bringing “local beer into everyday life” through its peach relay once again this year.
