Nu10rin Brewing in Kawaguchi, Saitama, announced a special service window on Friday, August 7, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The brewery, which makes beer with local Kawaguchi water and runs a taproom alongside its own kitchen, continues to pair house-brewed beer with food designed for drinking.

New beer: Gohan

The standout release for the day is Gohan, an upcycled rice ale. In the post, the brewery says it can be listed simply as “Gohan” on the menu, with serving sizes ranging from light to extra large. It is positioned as a beer that works naturally with food, which fits Nu10rin’s everyday, food-friendly style.

Beer lineup for the day

The full lineup spans both familiar house beers and a guest pour:

- Hime Beer’s Dortmunder, served on a swing-kaln
- Akahana (Red ale)
- Ichijikai (Gose)
- Saison Nu-to-riinu (Saison)
- Nutochan, hojicha version (Hazy hojicha ale)
- Ultra Nutope (IPA)
- Kurosawa (Black sour)
- Akahana to Honey (Honey red lager)
- New Gohan (Rice ale)

That range shows the brewery’s broad brewing range, from lagers and saisons to sour beers and tea-driven ales. As a local brewery and brewpub in Kawaguchi, Nu10rin also keeps expanding its presence beyond beer through radio and photo-related projects. For drinkers in the area, August 7 is a good day to catch the new rice ale while it is on the board.
