Saitama Prefecture’s Kawaguchi-based Nutori Brewing announced its business plans for Sunday, April 5 on Instagram. In the post, the brewery first thanked customers who visited in the rain on Saturday, April 4, and then announced that it would hold a joint running club with Aichi Butterfly Brewery the following day.
The running event will begin with a gathering at Nutori at 11:00 a.m., and Butterfly Brewery president Iriyama will also join. After the run, the event shifts to beer time, where guests will toast with beers from Butterfly Brewery, Nutori’s beers, and “Nutori Aichi Meshi.”
The food offerings are also specific. According to the post, the brewery will prepare beef tendon doteni seasoned with Aichi miso and mirin, and the anko will be turned into Ogura burritos. Rice will also be cooked, so it can be served as dote meshi as well. Alongside the beer, the range of food options gives a sense of the soft, welcoming atmosphere that is typical of Nutori Brewing.
The shop will be open for regular business from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Even people not taking part in the run can join from beer time onward. As a brewery in Kawaguchi, this day stands out for combining ordinary local business for neighborhood customers with a collaborative event alongside another brewery. Starting with thanks for visits on a rainy day and ending with an invitation to enjoy the next day together, the post conveys the close relationship between the shop and its customers.
