Kuriyama Craft announced on Instagram that it had settled on "Harugasumi" as the name of its spring seasonal craft beer. According to the post, 102 entries were submitted for the name prediction campaign, and the brewery commented that it was "filled with surprise and joy."

Service began at 5:00 p.m. on February 25. The venue is the taproom Kuri to Kura (@kuriandkura), and an announcement was made that it would be tapped that same day. As part of a campaign, two people who correctly guessed the name were told they would receive all-you-can-drink access to "Harugasumi" during the serving period, while applicants who came close with the kanji notation would receive one half-pint free (those eligible have already been contacted).

The beer specifications are as follows.

- Category: Happoshu
- Alcohol by volume: 5.0%
- Style: Hazy Sour

In the post, the brewery described the beer's flavor as having a slightly hazy appearance and a pronounced acidity, with a design that lets the malt's savory depth spread as you keep drinking. As a brewer's comment, it also suggested enjoying it alternately with existing labels such as "InsPirAtion" and "Winter General."

Kuriyama Craft is a brewery based in Kuriyama Town, Hokkaido. Its profile states, "small pleasures, small luxuries," and this new "Harugasumi" is also likely to draw attention as a glass that lightly captures the changing seasons.
