Kuriyama Craft in Kuriyama Town, Hokkaido, will hold special hours to coincide with the town's annual spring event, the "Kuriyama Shonichi Festival." The taproom "beer&bar Kuritokura" will be open on Saturday, April 11 from 11:00 to 18:00 and on Sunday, April 12 from 11:00 to 17:00.

The "Kuriyama Shonichi Festival" is a spring event in Kuriyama Town, known for the Kita no Nishiki Sake Brewery Festival, the Kibidango Festival, and the Furusato Inaka Festival. Kuriyama Craft is also suggesting a slightly different way to enjoy its beers, timed to this season when the town's character comes through especially strongly.

In its post, the brewery announced that all six varieties of Kuriyama Craft will be available. In addition to the spring-limited "Harugasumi," the brewery will also pour "Ato no Matsuri" for the first time on tap, an aged version of last summer's "Natsu Matsuri." There will also be pairing dishes designed to go with the beers, and the setup will let visitors enjoy a three-beer tasting comparison. The tap list and food menu can be checked in images 2 and 3 of the post.

Kuriyama Craft is a brewery that was founded in Kuriyama Town in April 2025. Its hallmark is the use of sake from Kobayashi Sake Brewery, the oldest sake brewery in Hokkaido, located in the town, as a secondary ingredient. Rather than using sake lees or sake rice, it incorporates sake itself into the brewing process. While preserving the flavor and richness of sake, it aims to offer beers with a gentle aroma under the slogan, "a small pleasure, a small luxury." Paired with a spring stroll through town, this should be a chance to enjoy a beer that lets you feel the local background.
