Mugishima-omotecho-, a beer pub located on the first floor of Hibariterasu in Omotecho Shopping Street, Okayama City, posted that it had tapped Sankt Gallen’s Pineapple Ale on July 21. The shop is open from 3:00 p.m. on weekdays, until midnight on Fridays, and from lunchtime on weekends, making it a place where drinkers can follow a rotating draft lineup.

Sankt Gallen’s Pineapple Ale is a summer seasonal fruit beer brewed with golden pineapple. According to the brewery, the fruit is added to the wort before fermentation, which gives the beer a gentle pineapple note not only in the aroma but also in the foam. The base style is a dry Brut IPA, so the beer is designed to balance juicy fruit character with a crisp finish.

The day’s tap list also included Johana Beer’s Earl Grey, Kurashiki Brewing’s Kurashiki Hazy IPA, Mimasaka Beer Works’ Hazy Pale Ale, Uchu Brewing’s Monolith, Free Spirits Brewing’s Lockhart IPA, and Kuriyama Craft’s Natsu Matsuri 2026. In addition, Hime White from Isekadoya Beer, Fruity Saison from Spring Valley Brewery, Maruef Black, Heartland Draft, and All-Free Draft rounded out a lineup that ranged from local craft beers to familiar domestic staples.

As a beer pub built around rotating drafts in Okayama’s central shopping district, Mugishima-omotecho- is a straightforward stop for anyone looking to compare Japanese craft beers in one place.
