Beer Island-omotecho- in Okayama’s Kita Ward has added new draft craft beers to its lineup as of September 23, 2026. The pub operated continuously from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. that day, offering a convenient stop for daytime drinking or a final toast during the holiday period.

The most distinctive new arrival is Nyutoizonsho from Kyoto Brewing, a limited collaboration with Totopia. The beer is described as an orange ice cream beer made with a generous amount of lactose, suggesting a sweet, dessert-like profile with citrus character.

Also newly tapped was Yaseru from Miroku Brewery. This gose uses natural salt and is presented with aromas and acidity reminiscent of white grapes and lime. Its bright, tart character provides a clear contrast to the richer sweetness of Nyutoizonsho.

The draft list also included Kurashiki Brewing’s Kurashiki Hazy IPA, Nara Brewing’s Charm, Nomcraft’s Green Magic, Free Spirits Brewing’s Cranberry Saison, Brooklyn Brewery’s The Stonewall Inn IPA, Yamaguchi Ji-Beer’s Setouchi Weizen, and SVB’s Daydream. Cans from Harenokuni Brewery—Togenkyo, Ichigeki, and Blackout—were also listed.

Located inside Hibari Terasu on Okayama’s Omotecho shopping street, Beer Island-omotecho- is a relaxed beer pub specializing in craft beer from Okayama and across Japan. Tap availability and opening hours may change, so checking the pub’s social media before visiting is recommended.
