Beer Island Omotecho in Okayama’s Kita Ward will remain open during Silver Week. On Friday, September 18, the pub will welcome guests from 3 p.m. to midnight, with a broad selection of draft beer and a limited food special.
The tap list includes Tamano West Coast IPA from Kurashiki Brewing in Okayama; Charm from Nara Brewing; Mugi from Miroku Beer in Kagawa; Green Magic and Octopus King from Nomcraft in Wakayama; Cranberry Saison from Frisp in Hyogo; The Stonewall Inn IPA from Brooklyn Brewery; Setouchi Weizen from Yamaguchi Ji-Beer; and Daydream from SVB in Tokyo. Standard taps also include Maruefu Kuro-Nama from Asahi Breweries, Heartland Nama from Kirin Brewery, and All-Free Nama from Suntory.
The selection covers a range of styles, from hop-forward IPA to weizen, saison, dark lager, and alcohol-free beer. Several beers are marked as new in the original post, giving regulars and visiting beer fans a reason to explore the current lineup.
For food, the pub is offering a limited-quantity pizza topped with 生ハムのせファジ丸ゲリーダ. The shop recommends pairing the freshly baked pizza with one of its draft craft beers.
