麦酒島-omotecho- to Join Harenomino Food-and-Drink Walk on October 17–18
Beer pub 麦酒島-omotecho- in Okayama’s Omotecho district will take part in Harenomino on October 17–18, 2026. Its draft selection features craft beers from Okayama and breweries across Japan, alongside Brooklyn IPA and familiar Japanese lagers.

The main highlight is Harenomino, a food-and-drink walking event held on October 17 and 18 with around 40 restaurants in the Omotecho area. Guests who purchase event tickets at 麦酒島 receive a ¥1,000 food voucher usable at the pub. Advance reservations for same-day ticket pickup are also available by phone or through the official LINE account.
The posted draft list includes two beers from local brewery Kurashiki Brewing: Kurashiki Hazy IPA and Tamano West Coast IPA. Other Japanese craft selections include Miroku Brewery’s Yaseru from Kagawa, 390 Brewery’s Mawa from Hiroshima, Kyoto Brewing’s Nyutoizonsho, and Nara Brewing’s Philharmonie.
The lineup also features Brooklyn’s The Stonewall Inn IPA and Setouchi Weizen from Yamaguchi Ji-Beer. Non-craft options include Asahi’s Maruefu Kuro Nama, Kirin Heartland Nama, and Suntory All-Free, a non-alcoholic draft beer.
Located inside the Hibari Terrace building along the shopping arcade, 麦酒島 combines pizza with a rotating beer selection. It opens from the afternoon on weekdays and from late morning on weekends.
