Baeren Brewery in Morioka, Iwate, has released information about the new season of its annual spring event, "Zaimokucho Yoichi." According to the post, the 2026 opening day is Saturday, April 4. From that day, annual passports and season ticket books will also begin to be usable.

In this announcement, Baeren at Zaimokucho introduced beer purchase methods in two steps. The guidance is designed to be easy to follow for first-time attendees, and the brewery recommends applying and purchasing in advance in anticipation of crowds on opening day.

On the pricing and system side, the annual passport, which covers the Saturdays of Yoichi (April through November), is set at 41,000 yen including tax. It also states that with five or more winter season ticket stubs, the price drops by 5% to 38,950 yen. The season ticket book is 10 drinks for 4,000 yen. In addition, the "Jockey Club," which includes a ticket book and the creation of a personal mug, is 7,500 yen including tax, and until the mug is completed, members can use a loaner mug.

The Jockey Club's new member campaign is scheduled to run on March 28 and March 31. Anyone who joins on the day gets one free drink, giving people an extra push to participate before the season begins.

Baeren Brewery is based in Morioka and is known for brewing European traditional-style beer using a brewing kettle that is more than 100 years old. Its role in connecting community-based events with craft beer culture is significant, and in the 2026 season as well, it is likely to remain at the center of the experience of "drinking in town on Saturdays."
