Art will be presented by GASBON METABOLISM; the flea market will be run by BASH BOX and WhERE is FAKE; the market will feature local vendors; and food will be handled by Manchin Bao and HALENOBON Cafe. The alcohol section is explicitly labeled “Manchin Brewing / Manchin Liquor Store.”
Based in Yamanashi, Manchin Brewing has been building a place that includes not only beer, but also liquor-store and food-related functions. Rather than a standalone tap event, this project has a strong “roaming festival” feel, where Hokuto’s local players bring their own character to the table. For beer fans, too, it is the kind of spring excursion worth watching, since it offers a chance to experience the brewery’s alcohol together with music, art, and food all at once.
