Yellow Monkey Brewing Announces Three New April Releases, Including UTSUROI
On March 31, Yokohama's Yellow Monkey Brewing posted its April business schedule on Instagram. The brewery summarized the month's moves, from the April 4 debut of its new beer UTSUROI to anniversary programming and events at stockists.
Yokohama's Yellow Monkey Brewing posted its April business schedule on Instagram on March 31. True to the stance it sets out on its official website - "connecting people through beer and sports and spreading smiles" - it is rolling out both new beer releases and events across different locations at the same time.
Main April Schedule
- April 4 New beer release: "UTSUROI." The brewery presents it as the first step toward the "Japanese style" it plans to pursue going forward. Special food, "three kinds of obanzai," will also be offered.
- April 25 Release of the near-regular beer "GODZONE BEAT." It highlights the strength of the New Zealand style, which is also part of the brewery's roots.
- April 29 YMB Taproom 2nd Anniversary Week begins and runs through May 10. During the period, the new beer "GOKIGEN" will also make an appearance.
There is plenty happening on the event side as well. On April 1, there will be a Beer Boulevard four-store takeover, followed by a Tokaido BEER tap takeover on April 17-18 and a Sakeota tap takeover on April 25-26. The way it is running stockist activations alongside anniversary programming at the taproom shows YMB's approach of expanding touchpoints with drinkers from its Yokohama base. April looks like a month to follow for both the character of the new releases and the excitement around the anniversary period.
