Yellow Monkey Brewing is inviting customers to choose one past beer for a revival release. The “Revival Beer Vote” will run for five days, from September 19 through 23. Visitors can place a sticker on the in-house voting board for their favorite beer.
The four candidates are MUSCAT HAZY, a fruit-forward Fruit Ale; JALAPEÑO MEXICAN LAGER, a Chili Beer with a peppery character; DANDYISM IPA, a dark and expressive Black IPA; and GODZONE BEAT, an NZ Double IPA made with five New Zealand hop varieties.
The beers range from 4.5% to 8.5% ABV: MUSCAT HAZY is 6.0%, JALAPEÑO MEXICAN LAGER is 4.5%, DANDYISM IPA is 6.5%, and GODZONE BEAT is 8.5%. Their contrasting styles give drinkers four distinct directions to explore before casting a vote.
Voting power depends on serving size: an S-size beer counts as one vote, while an L-size beer counts as two. Participants will also receive a 10% discount coupon valid in December. The beer with the most votes is scheduled to be brewed again and re-released in early December.
