Hansharo Beer in Izunokuni, Shizuoka, has unveiled its limited beer "Full Bloom DIPA: Blooming Hop Flowers" on its official website. This West Coast Double IPA uses seven kinds of hops, delivering a vibrant aroma reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruit, along with a satisfying 7.5% ABV.
On May 18, 2026, Hansharo Beer introduced its limited release "Full Bloom DIPA: Blooming Hop Flowers." The beer style is West Coast Double IPA, and it is crafted with a lavish seven-hop blend that balances vivid aroma with a powerful bitterness.
According to the product description, the hops used are Amarillo Cryo, Citra Cryo, Mosaic Cryo, Simcoe, Eldorado, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin. The brewery uses a Dip Hop process, adding hops to the wort before fermentation is complete, which further highlights the citrus character derived from Citra. The aroma evokes yellow citrus and tropical fruit, while the flavor layers lemon and grapefruit notes over firm bitterness and the satisfying presence of higher alcohol. It has an alcohol content of 7.5% and an IBU of 70. It will be available in 350 ml cans and kegs.
Hansharo Beer is based in Izunokuni, Shizuoka, and is known as a brewery that serves beer delivered straight from the brewhouse right in front of the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace. On its official website, it has released many labels inspired by local history and place names, consistently presenting a balance of tradition and innovation. This new release is also positioned as a limited beer that foregrounds the character of the hops while drawing on the identity of its hometown.
As for pairing, the brewery officially recommends "freshly fried toriten." With the bright aroma and crisp bitterness of a DIPA, it should also pair well with fried foods and dishes with a toasted, savory character.
