Hansharo Beer, based in Izu-no-Kuni, Shizuoka, announced the limited beer Natural Yeast Beer ~Domaine Oyamada~ BARREL AGED on August 31, 2026. The release is a collaboration with Domaine Oyamada from Peizana Nakahara Winery in Yamanashi. According to the brewery, the beer was fermented with natural yeast found on wine grapes handled by viticulturist-brewer Yukinori Oyamada, then matured in oak barrels.

The brewery describes the finished beer as showing apple, lemon, and yellow peach-like notes from the natural yeast, layered with a sharp acidity developed through barrel aging. At 9% ABV, it is positioned as a beer with a long finish and a layered profile.

Hansharo Beer, located in Izu-Nirayama, has long worked from a regional craft-brewing base while exploring fermentation-driven styles and collaborations. This release combines grape-derived wild yeast and barrel aging, expanding the expressive range of beer through a wine-influenced approach. As a limited product, availability will depend on sales channels.
