Okutama Festival Celebrating 10 Years

Beer Cafe VERTERE, based in Okutama Town, Nishitama District, Tokyo, will hold "VERTERE Anniversary Festival -10th Anniversary-" on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 to celebrate 10 years since it began brewing. The event will take place on the grounds of the Okutama brewery, and admission is free. Beer will be sold using a ticket system, and advance ticket information has also been announced.

20 Taps and Venue-Exclusive Beer

On the day, 20 taps will be lined up, including core favorites and new releases, and the venue-exclusive Anniversary Fest Beer brewed especially for this festival will also make an appearance. The style details will be revealed on the day, but it is likely to draw attention as a beer unique to this anniversary event.

A Space Built Together with the Local Community

Food and the market area will also be substantial. In addition to BBQ spare ribs, tacos, gapao, hot dogs, and gyoza, coffee, organic vegetables, and Okutama souvenirs are also planned, creating a lineup where visitors can enjoy not only beer but also food and shopping. Rather than being just a brewery event, it shows an approach to creating the space together with local shops and businesses.

VERTERE's Current Position from Okutama

VERTERE is a brewery that has been sharing craft beer while rooted in Okutama's natural surroundings, and it currently operates taprooms not only at its Okutama main location but also in Eifuku, Tachikawa, and Yokohama. This festival looks set to be a milestone opportunity to experience that journey on site in Okutama. It will be two days to enjoy beer in the spring mountain air, together with the atmosphere of the brewery.
