Teenage Brewing has released the collaboration beer "Two-Tone" with Totopia Brewery, based in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture. The style is DDH DIPA, and the alcohol content is 9.0%. It is one of two collaboration beers brewed by both breweries, and this one appears as the Teenage side's creation.

What sets this beer apart is its double mash, in which the malt is added in two stages. The design aims for high gravity and a rich mouthfeel, giving the beer a full body while pushing the hop aroma to the forefront. The hops used are Freestyle Nelson Sauvin, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Rakau, and Citra Dynaboost. The result is a beer with aromas reminiscent of citrus and stone fruit.

Teenage Brewing is a brewery with its own brewhouse in Tokigawa Town, Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture. While emphasizing its affinity with music, it offers a wide range of beers, from IPAs and sours to collaboration brews. In this "Two-Tone," the brewery says the beer was shaped not only through the recipe, but also through discussions on label design and naming, showing the level of attention to detail that defines the brand.

From the Totopia Brewery side, a counterpart beer titled "Tonephilia" will also be released as a DDH Hazy DIPA. Tasting both side by side should make it possible to enjoy the differences in expression born from the same collaboration.
