Teenage Brewing, based in Tokigawa, Saitama, has launched a new frozen craft beer. The brewery says it kept the beer’s rich character intact while redesigning the ingredients and balance from scratch so the beer would perform at its best in a frozen machine.

The beer is described as having a crisp, icy texture and a bright hop aroma that opens up the moment it melts on the palate. It is positioned as a summer-friendly drink with a lively aroma and a refreshing finish.

Recipe supervision for this release was handled by Taichi, owner of pot in Karasuma-Oike, Kyoto. Teenage Brewing also notes that pot will be serving it as well, extending the beer’s reach beyond Saitama.

For now, the beer will be available at the taproom on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The brewery is also considering future event service, continuing its approach of pushing craft beer into less familiar territory.
