Yellow Monkey Brewing announced a collaborative event that will also serve as the unveiling of its new release, "HANA YUZU." At the venue, the concept "SUSHI & BEER," which pairs sushi with craft beer, will be held.

Event Overview

- Date: Friday, March 20, 2026 (national holiday)
- Time: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Details: Release of new "HANA YUZU" and sushi pairing service

According to the post, "HANA YUZU" is a fruit ale made with Yokohama flower yuzu. Built around the citrus aroma and gentle acidity derived from flower yuzu, it is designed with New Zealand hop "Riwaka," coriander seed, and sake yeast to create a beer with layered flavor and aroma. It is also characterized by being presented as a "Japanese-style" beer with a distinctly Japanese sensibility.

On the day, a special menu will be prepared in collaboration with traveling sushi chef (@sushi_chef_trave1er). The prices are listed as "3-piece sushi set" for 1,200 yen, "3-piece sushi set + HANA YUZU (S size)" for 1,700 yen, and an additional two premium pieces for +1,000 yen.

The brewery is based in Nakagawa, Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, and was founded in 2023. On its official website, it lists its mission as "connecting people through beer and sports." This collaboration with sushi is also noteworthy as an effort to connect local ingredients and fermentation culture to craft beer.
