Beer Cafe Gambrinus / BEER CAFE GAMBRINUS in Kokubunji, Tokyo, posted its July 28 update with regular hours and a refreshed tap list. The bar is open from 17:00 to 25:00, with last orders at 23:00 for food and 24:00 for drinks.
The summer food menu covers 11 items, ranging from light snacks such as green pepper with salted kombu, okra in a spicy marinade, and green beans with plum meat to more substantial dishes like Tokachi herb beef grill with green chili salsa, chilled soup curry, green chili miso grilled rice balls, and barley-and-taro rice. It is a lineup built for pairing with beer rather than standing apart from it.
Gambrinus is also serving limited blueberry-festival dishes until August 1: camembert fries with Kokubeji blueberry jam, and a hot sandwich with Kokubeji blueberries and marshmallow.
