A broad lineup near Kokubunji Station
Beer Cafe Gambrinus will tap Hino Brewing’s Big Time Ale on October 24. This hazy IPA is known for its cloudy appearance and expressive hop character, making it one of the highlights of the lineup.
Izumi Brewery’s Schwarz is also newly available. Its roasted, toasty profile offers a sharp contrast to the juicy IPA. Kunitachi Brewery contributes 2026, a light Japanese rice lager, along with Michikakeru Sekai, a refreshing weissbier.
Other selections include Harvestmoon’s Yoichi Style IPA, Shiga Kogen Beer’s IPA served on a hand pump, and Iwate Kura Beer’s Red Ale. Hop-focused options include Black Tide’s Terminal, a West Coast IPA, and Nomcraft’s Ghost Panda, a hazy IPA.
For something more unusual, DD4D’s Nanigaski? is a chocolate-mint white stout with a distinctive dessert-like concept. Swan Lake Beer’s Porter, Baird Beer’s Country Girl Pumpkin Ale, Kakegawa Farm’s Apricot Saison, and Pilsner Urquell round out the current selection.
The upcoming list includes Swan Lake Beer’s #B-IPA, Shonan Beer’s Hazy IPA McKenzie, Hansharo Beer’s Bloom Riot, Be Easy’s Lilikoi, and Ushitora’s Choppiri Amakute Horonigai Koi no Double♡.
Located on the sixth floor of the Dai 46 Tokyo Building, about a minute from the south exit of Kokubunji Station, Gambrinus offers 14 taps focused mainly on Japanese craft beer. Guests can pair the beers with warm, homemade Japanese dishes. On Saturdays, the pub is open from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., with food orders until 11 p.m. and drink orders until midnight.
