Okazaki Beer is the first craft brewery in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. It began self-brewing in October 2023 and makes beers with local ingredients such as Hatcho miso and Minem Asahi, a branded rice grown in Okazaki. That local focus also carries into its event appearances, where beer and food are presented together.
From a fireworks festival in Okazaki to a temple night market in Nagoya, the August schedule shows how closely the brewery ties its beer to local events and regional food culture.
