New beer debuts on brewery grounds

Okazaki Beer in Okazaki, Aichi, will hold the second edition of its on-site trial service on August 29 and present its new beer, Hakusekirei White IPA, for the first time in Okazaki. The event runs from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., using the brewery grounds for an open-air format where visitors can enjoy beer and food in a casual setting.

The new release is a White IPA built around the soft texture of wheat malt and the bright aroma of New Zealand hops. The beer is described as having a light, crisp drinking character, balancing IPA-style hop aroma with an approachable finish.

Food and setting

Food will also be available, including chicken karaage, shrimp stick spring rolls, and dishes with Okazaki-style hatcho miso, along with standard beer snacks. Tents and food trucks will be set up on the premises, creating a relaxed outdoor atmosphere centered on the brewery.

About Okazaki Beer

Founded in 2022, Okazaki Beer obtained its fermentation-alcohol brewing license in 2023 and began selling its own products the same year. Based at its brewery in Jojokita-cho, Okazaki City, the brewery has been steadily expanding how local drinkers can experience its beers. This event fits that direction: a small-scale but concrete way to introduce a new beer close to home.
