Okazaki Beer to Hold Second Trial Sale on Aug. 29, Debuting Hakusekirei WHITE IPA
Okazaki Beer in Okazaki, Aichi, will hold its second “trial opening” on August 29 at the brewery grounds. The event will feature the first local unveiling of a new beer, Hakusekirei WHITE IPA, alongside food offerings.
Okazaki Beer, based in Okazaki City, Aichi, will host the second installment of its “trial opening” on Saturday, August 29, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the brewery grounds.
The highlight is the new beer Hakusekirei WHITE IPA. According to the brewery, it features the fresh aroma of New Zealand hops and a light, crisp body built with wheat malt. This will be its first public appearance in Okazaki.
Food will also be available, including tatsuta-age and shrimp stick spring rolls, plus Haccho-miso dishes and classic beer-friendly snacks. Although the site is normally used for brewing, the brewery will place tents and food trucks on the grounds to test an outdoor service format where visitors can enjoy beer and food at a relaxed pace.
The venue is 14-1 Johoku-cho, Okazaki City, Aichi. It is about a 20-minute walk from Naka-Okazaki Station or Okazaki-koen-mae Station, 8 minutes from the Meitetsu Bus stop Nomi-cho, and 5 minutes from the Nisshin Park Kita-Okazaki Station parking lot. The brewery says it will not sell alcohol to drivers.
Okazaki Beer was established in August 2022, obtained its beer-production license in 2023, and began selling its own products later that year. The event reflects the brewery’s effort to explore new ways to enjoy its beer directly at the source.
