Pecora Beer, based in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, introduced its new beer, "#043 Yomoco / Yomoco," on Instagram. According to the information released, the beer style is `Yomogi Grisette`, with an alcohol content of 4.5% and an IBU of 27.

The post revealed that yomogi from Yamagata was added during the fermentation process. The aroma is described as "the yomogi scent of kusa mochi." As for the taste, it is presented as a crisp, refreshing saison beer, suggesting a design aimed at the kind of lightness you want to reach for in early spring.

Pecora Beer opened in Asao Ward, Kawasaki City, on January 28, 2024, and began releasing its own in-house brewed beers on August 30 of the same year. Though small in scale, it is a brewery that has steadily built a reputation for attention to brewing and service, so this new release will be watched for how it brings out the character of its ingredients.

The style name `Yomogi Grisette` evokes a light drinkability and herbal nuances. By pairing that with Yamagata-grown yomogi, this beer naturally folds a Japanese aroma into a beer context. Rather than pushing flashy elements to the forefront, it seems to be a new release that conveys the season through aroma and drinkability.
