Kagiya Brewery will hold a craft beer tasting event, "KAWASAKI BEER JAM 2026," at Kagiya Brewery Taproom in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City. The event will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, as a one-night-only program, with doors opening at 7:00 p.m., taps opening at 8:00 p.m., and the event ending at 9:30 p.m.

The main highlight this time is the chance to enjoy a total of 20 kinds of beer all at once. The lineup includes 10 beers from Kagiya Brewery, plus 3 from the U.S.-based Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., 3 from Firestone Walker Brewing Company, and 4 from Nagoya's Y.MARKET BREWING. With IPA, pale ale, lager, and other styles, the format makes it easy for craft beer fans to compare differences in flavor and see the breadth of the lineup.

Kagiya Brewery Taproom, the venue, is an on-site brewery beer bar operated by Kagiya Brewery. The strengths of the brewery, which handcrafts and sells original craft beer in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, are directly reflected in the event experience. Based in Musashi-Nakahara in Kawasaki City, Kagiya Brewery also operates stores in Musashi-Kosugi and Jiyugaoka, continuing to promote craft beer rooted in the local community.

Another feature of the event is that bringing in food is free. Because attendees can try their own pairings, such as IPA with spicy food, stout with chocolate, and lager with fried chicken, it is more than just a tasting session; it can also be used as a place to enjoy discovering pairings. The admission fee is 3,500 yen (before tax). It is an event suited to people who want to experience a wide range of beers at once or casually compare craft beers.
