Hansharo Beer Releases Limited Double IPA “REFLECTED HOP”
Hansharo Beer in Izunokuni, Shizuoka, will release its limited beer “REFLECTED HOP” at 6:00 p.m. on October 26, 2026. Brewed with American hops including El Dorado and Sabro, the 8.5% American Double IPA delivers tropical, fruit-forward aromas and a full, hop-driven finish.
A Double IPA built around hop intensity
Hansharo Beer’s limited release “REFLECTED HOP” will go on sale at 6:00 p.m. on October 26, 2026. The beer is available in a 350ml can for ¥900, including tax, through the brewery’s online shop.
The beer’s concept is to put “the brilliance of hops” in every glass. American hop varieties such as El Dorado and Sabro bring tropical impressions, with fruity and highly aromatic notes supported by a powerful flavor profile. Several hop varieties are used generously, allowing their individual characters to overlap and create layers of flavor.
With an ABV of 8.5%, REFLECTED HOP is designed as a substantial Double IPA rather than a light, easy-drinking IPA. Its appeal lies in the combination of expressive aroma, assertive hop flavor and a lingering, warming finish. Drinkers who enjoy bold American-style IPAs can expect a beer that keeps hops at the center from the first aroma through the aftertaste.
Brewed beside the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace
Hansharo Beer is based in Izunokuni, Shizuoka, next to the historic Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace. Its operator, Kuraya Narusawa, also grows and produces tea and runs dining facilities. The company began brewing Hansharo Beer in 1997.
The brewery balances respect for tradition with experimentation, offering core beers alongside a rotating selection of limited releases. REFLECTED HOP represents the hop-focused side of that approach, giving drinkers an opportunity to explore a robust Double IPA built around aromatic American varieties.
The beer will be sold through the Hansharo Beer online shop. Fans of intensely aromatic, full-bodied IPAs should check the release time before purchasing.
