Hansharo Beer Releases Limited Peach White IPA with Ichinomiya Hakuto Peaches
Hansharo Beer has announced the limited release of Peach White IPA ~Ichinomiya Hakuto Ver.~, brewed with ripe Ichinomiya Hakuto peaches selected by Saito Fruits in Mishima, Shizuoka. The beer combines peach fruitiness, a smooth wheat-based body, and expressive hop aromas.
A peach-forward White IPA
Hansharo Beer, based in Izunokuni, Shizuoka, is releasing a new limited beer, Peach White IPA ~Ichinomiya Hakuto Ver.~. The beer uses ripe peaches carefully selected by Saito Fruits, a produce shop and fruit juice stand in Mishima known for its expertise in choosing fruit.
This edition features Ichinomiya Hakuto peaches from Yamanashi. The peaches are processed into a rich purée and added during brewing. A wheat-based White IPA was chosen to complement the peach’s mellow fruit character with a soft, smooth mouthfeel.
Fruity hops and a balanced finish
The hop bill includes Citra Cryo, Krush Cryo, Sabro Cryo, and Simcoe. Sabro in particular helps emphasize the peach character, while aromas reminiscent of white fruit and coconut are joined by notes of apple and lemon.
The beer pours a hazy yellow. Its palate is smooth and rounded, with peach fruitiness wrapped in the gentle texture of wheat malt. A hop-derived bitterness arrives toward the finish, giving the beer a satisfying IPA-like structure rather than leaving it simply sweet.
The beer is a 6.0% ABV White IPA with 30 IBU, packaged in 350ml cans. Sales are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on October 26, 2026. Hansharo Beer suggests pairing it with a peach and mozzarella caprese. The release offers another example of the Izunokuni brewery’s approach to combining local fruit expertise with expressive modern beer styles.
