Seasonal item shipping from May 27 onward
Baeren Brewery has added the "Wild Grape Radler 330 ml bottle," made with wild grape juice from Noda Village, Iwate, to its lineup. Radler is a style long enjoyed as beer mixed with lemonade, and this version combines lemon juice and wild grape juice, finished without any flavorings.
It has an alcohol content of 2.5%. The product is happoshu (malt use ratio of 25% or more but less than 50%), and its ingredients are wild grape juice, malt, sugars, lemon juice, and hops. Despite its low alcohol content, it is designed to balance the fresh acidity and gentle sweetness of wild grapes, aiming for a refreshing taste suited to hot weather.
Baeren Brewery is based in Morioka, Iwate, and is known for European-style brewing using a brew kettle more than 100 years old. In addition to its standard lager, it also offers many limited-edition beers that make use of local ingredients, and this Wild Grape Radler follows that tradition. By using wild grapes from Noda Village, it becomes a beer that reflects the character of the land in every glass.
It can be stored at room temperature, and storage in a cool place away from direct sunlight is recommended. If paired with light appetizers or dishes with acidity, its fruitiness and refreshing quality should stand out even more.
