Five Draft Beers, Including Hon Nama, Arrive on May 24 at Marumugi, a Craft Beer Bar in Shinjuku

In keeping with a small beer bar, the selection is easy to choose from depending on your mood that day, with prices set at 1,200 yen+ for a large size and 900 yen+ for a small size. Some beers can be enjoyed for an additional 100 yen, making it easy to compare different brews.
Leading the lineup that day is Repubrew's (Shizuoka) "Hon Nama." This cream ale has an ABV of 5.5% and is characterized by a dry, crisp finish and a light feel thanks to low-temperature fermentation. It's an easy-drinking style, so it makes sense that it's placed as the first beer to try.
Next is Ushitora Brewery's (Tochigi) "Ushitora Man Dyna IPA," at 6.5% ABV. This IPA balances a vivid aroma with a well-rounded bitterness, making it a good choice for people who want to really enjoy hop presence.
Shima Brewing's (Mie) "Shiranui Ale" comes in at 5.0% ABV. It is offered as an approachable beer with citrus-like nuances that come to the fore.
Also appearing is Y.MARKET BREWING's (Aichi) "Over Drive Pale Ale," at 5.5% ABV. Built around citrus aromas, this pale ale layers gentle bitterness with malt sweetness, giving it a clear personality without being overly flashy.
Finally, there is Minami Shinshu Beer’s (Nagano) "Komagatake Ale," at 7.0% ABV. It is a beer with a rich, early-summer character that combines freshness with satisfying depth.
