Ji-beer Bar Maru Mugi in Arakicho, Shinjuku, has published its craft beer lineup for October 19, 2026. The selection includes five drinks from breweries across Japan. Large pours are priced at 1,300 yen and small pours at 1,000 yen.

HOPDOG BREWING’s “Akita Apple and Japanese Pear Cider” leads the list. At 6.5% ABV, it is described as combining the rich aroma of apples with the refreshing character of Japanese pear, making it an option for guests who want a fruit-forward drink alongside the beer selection.

Ushとら Brewery’s “Slowly Simmered Pils” from Tochigi is 5.5% ABV. Its clean profile, floral and herbal hop aroma, restrained bitterness, and crisp finish are presented as qualities suited to an easy-drinking pilsner.

Minoh Beer’s “KANSHA29 -Rice IPA-” is a 6.0% limited brew celebrating the brewery’s 29th anniversary. Citrus and tropical-fruit hop aromas meet a light rice-derived body and a dry finish. For a more intense hop experience, Ise Kadoya Beer’s 7.0% Imperial Red Ale is also on tap.

The final beer is Baird Brewing’s “Rising Sun Pale Ale,” a 5.5% staple from Shizuoka known for pronounced citrus hop aroma and bitterness. Located on the second floor of Ichibankan Building in Arakicho, Maru Mugi is a beer pub where rotating taps offer a broad view of Japanese brewing. The pub also notes that prices were revised from October 1 and that it is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays.
