Nakazakicho’s Brewpub Center Point Spotlights House-Brewed Beer and Texas BBQ
An Instagram post about Brewpub Center Point in Osaka’s Nakazakicho highlighted the brewpub’s house-brewed craft beer and Texas-style BBQ. The lineup included Jushikurinikku Pale Ale and Smoke Porter, both positioned as easy matches for the food.
House-brewed beer on site
Brewpub Center Point, about a five-minute walk from Nakazakicho Station, is a brewpub with its own brewing equipment inside the venue. In the Instagram post, the shop said seven craft beers were on the board that day.
The first pour featured was Jushikurinikku Pale Ale (`酒池肉林ペールエール`), listed at 300 ml for 500 yen. The post described it as having a bright citrus-like aroma and a firm bitterness that follows after the initial sip. The second beer, Smoke Porter (`スモークポーター`), was 300 ml for 600 yen. It was presented as a black beer that stays approachable, with a roasty aroma and a clean drinkability.
Built around beer and BBQ
Food-wise, the post centered on the American BBQ Combo (`アメリカンBBQコンボ`), which can be assembled from items such as beef brisket, pulled pork, linguiça, sausage, and ginger roast pork. The brisket is smoked and roasted for more than eight hours, creating a texture that falls apart with a fork. Sides such as chili con carne, macaroni and cheese, pickles, and roasted broccoli round out the plate and make it easy to pair with beer.
The room also features bookshelves and photos of the makers, giving the place a casual but slightly unusual atmosphere where beer, BBQ, and conversation naturally overlap. The post did a good job of explaining each beer, who it suits, and what food it goes with, which makes the lineup approachable even for people who are still getting into craft beer.
