Brewpub Center Point in Osaka’s Nakazaki-cho has announced a six-beer tap list alongside its new Center Point Beef Rice. The lineup ranges from an American pale ale and IPA to a robust porter, white ale, bière de garde, and weizen bock.
Brewpub Center Point, a brewpub in Ukita, Osaka, has introduced its current six-beer tap lineup and a new food offering.
The beers include Jushikurinikku Pale Ale, a flagship American pale ale; Robust Porter; Ordinary Days, an American IPA; Somewhat White, a white ale; Avant de Garde, a bière de garde; and Mont Bock, a weizen bock. The selection covers a broad range of styles, from hop-forward pale ale and IPA to darker, roast-driven porter and malt-focused traditional styles.
The featured food item is Center Point Beef Rice. Beef is placed over rice in a hot skillet, then topped with corn, green onion, and butter. Sauce is poured over the dish at the table, and guests are encouraged to mix everything together while it is still sizzling. The rich beef and buttery flavors should pair naturally with the bitterness, roast, and carbonation of the house beers.
Located in Osaka’s Kita Ward, Brewpub Center Point combines an on-site brewery with Texas-style barbecue. The venue also offers beer and meat for takeaway. According to the announcement, 500 ml beer servings start at ¥800, while meat starts at ¥1,400 for a quarter pound. It is a practical stop for a fresh pint, a food pairing, or a house-beer takeaway.
