Beer Cafe Vertere to Hold 10th Anniversary Festival in Okutama on April 18 and 19
Beer Cafe Vertere in Okutama, Tokyo, will hold "VERTERE Anniversary Festival -10th Anniversary-" on April 18 and 19 to celebrate 10 years since it began brewing. In addition to 20 taps of beer, a new venue-exclusive barrel-aged beer will also be unveiled for the first time.
VERTERE (Beer Cafe Vertere) will hold "VERTERE Anniversary Festival -10th Anniversary-" on April 18 and 19 on the grounds of its brewery in Okutama to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its brewing launch.
In addition to 20 taps ranging from staples to new releases, the festival will also debut "Anniversary Fest Beer," a venue-exclusive barrel-aged beer brewed especially for the event. Local shops and restaurants with ties to the area will also participate, creating an experience that includes not only beer but also food and shopping. Vendors are expected to include charcoal-grilled BBQ spare ribs, tacos and burritos, gapao rice, hot dogs, gyoza, coffee, organic vegetables, and Okutama souvenirs.
VERTERE is a craft beer brewery based in Okutama, Tokyo, and has created more than 200 beers across a wide range of styles. Since beginning brewing in 2015, it has now reached its 10th year, and in addition to its Okutama flagship location, it also operates taprooms in Eifukucho, Tachikawa, and Yokohama. This festival is the anniversary event that gives form to the brewery's journey in Okutama, a place surrounded by nature.
The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days. Admission is free, and beer will be sold using a ticket system. Advance tickets come with an original keychain, and a shuttle bus will also run between Okutama Station and the venue. It looks set to be two days to savor 10 years of the brewery against the backdrop of Okutama's bright spring greenery.
