NEIGHBOR craftbeer&grill in Nogata, Tokyo, updated its tap list for June 13. The two new additions are GROUNDTAP BREWERY SUGOSUGI / Table Saison with Cedar (3.5%) and Y.MARKET BREWING HYSTERIC IPA / IPA (7%).

SUGOSUGI is described as a table saison brewed with aroma water extracted from cedar grown in Saijo. It brings a fresh, cooling cedar aroma together with fruity notes from saison yeast, making it a light beer with satisfying depth. HYSTERIC IPA is said to feature bright hop aromas of passion fruit, citrus, grapefruit, lychee, and green apple, with a bold but balanced bitterness from five hop varieties.

The full tap list on the day includes eight beers: NOMCRAFT BREWING Tiki Tiki Boom / Juicy Weizen (6%), BLADE FACTORY BREWING PINK ZEST CUT / Pink Lemonade Sour Ale (6%), NUDE BEER SANSAN-燦々- / Pilsner (5%), Gangi Brewing MORE GRIND / Golden Stout (5%), Beppu Brewery Yukemuri Haze / Session Hazy Pale Ale (5%), and 有頂天醸造 Jazz / Irish Dry Stout (4.3%). The lineup covers a wide range of styles, from crisp and easy-drinking to richer dark beers.

Food recommendations include beef stir-fry with black pepper, fried chicken, mushroom salad, charcoal-grilled young corn, and tuna yuzu-pepper cream pasta. The pub’s beer-and-food focus comes through clearly in the pairings.

The post also notes a private booking for a wedding party from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on June 13, so guests are asked to visit between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. or after 5:30 p.m. If you are coming with a dog, bring a leash, diaper, and crate. Bicycle parking is not available in front of the shop.
