The beer pub Craft Beer & Wine THE DODO HOUSE in Meguro, Tokyo, announced its lineup for Friday, April 17. The shop is known for focusing on domestic craft beer, domestic wine, and domestic spirits, and for always having seven taps of draft beer available. In that day’s post, it said that, fitting for a Friday heading into the weekend, the table seats were starting out almost fully reserved, while there was still room at the counter.

Today’s lineup consists of the following eight beers:

- Minoh Beer "Nice Bitter"
- Johana Beer "Golden Spark"
- Minamishinshu Beer "Ogna Biscuit Hop"
- Kankiku Brewery "Kankiku Helles"
- Baeren Brewery "Rye Ale"
- Ushiku Brewery "Gathering the Wind"
- Y.Market Brewing "Super IPA"
- Udon Brewing "Yuzu Oroshi Udon Hazy IPA"

From a brisk bitter to Helles, rye ale, IPA, and Hazy IPA, the lineup offers a clearly defined range of flavors. One of the highlights of the tap list for the day is the chance to compare beers from breweries across Japan. In the shop’s calm Meguro setting, this is very much the kind of place where you can enjoy food alongside beer, and it also suits a casual after-work drink.

The shop is located at St. Hills Meguro 103, 2-21-28 Shimomeguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo. Hours are 5:00 p.m. to midnight, and on Saturdays and Sundays it opens at 2:00 p.m. It is an easy place to stop by on a day when you want to take a relaxed look at the current state of domestic craft beer in Meguro.
