Spring-Limited Re-release Announcement

ISEKADO announced on Instagram its spring-limited "SAKEKASU HAZY IPA ZAKU Shinryoku." In the post, the brewery said this is the 13th re-release and let people who couldn't drink it last year know that it's back.

This beer is a hazy IPA made with sake lees from Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten's celebrated sake "Zaku," and the post describes it as having a "strong ginjo aroma." Positioned as the spring version of a collaboration using sake lees, it is a beer that highlights the meeting point between Mie's fermentation culture and craft beer. Sales are scheduled to begin with BtoB on Tuesday and EC sales on Wednesday.

Based in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, ISEKADO is a brewery that has continued making beer by drawing on local ingredients and fermentation techniques, rooted in the long-established Nikenchaya Mochi Kadoya Honten. While championing the idea of taking beer from Ise to the world, it has folded local character into its beers through collaborations with local sake breweries and seasonal limited releases. This re-release is a release that clearly reflects that direction.
