Good Hops (Tono, Iwate Prefecture) began selling its new product "Galaxy Hop Field" on May 27. In its post, the brewery said the style is IPA, the ABV is 6.0%, and the hops used are Australian Galaxy, Tono Cascade, and Tono Saaz.

This beer is one installment in a series that combines overseas hops with Tono-grown hops. The brewery says it layers Galaxy's orange-like fruity aroma with the light citrus aroma of Tono Cascade, tying the whole beer together with floral notes from Belgian yeast. In addition, Tono Cascade uses lupulin powder processed in-house, adding a fresh aroma reminiscent of lemon and grapefruit.

The post explains that it wants drinkers to enjoy the layered aromas while picturing Tono's clear night sky and hop fields. The approach of combining the atmosphere of Tono with the character of its hops well reflects this brewery's style of making beer. Sales began on the same day through both its consumer e-commerce site and its business sales site.
