The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant in Gotanda is an underground Irish/British-style beer pub where drinkers can enjoy craft beer and real ale in a calm, pub-like setting. In its July 22 Instagram post, the bar announced the opening of Hansharo Beer’s Osakeman IPA from Nirayama, Izu City, Shizuoka.

The tap list that day leaned into variety. Guest taps included Uchu Brewing’s Three Sisters, KANPAI! x Oasobier’s Kikizaka Brown Ale (Real Ale), U.B.P Brewery’s Counter Attack, and Repubrew’s Honnama, making it an easy place to compare Japanese craft styles side by side. The lineup also featured Sankt Gallen’s YOKOHAMA XPA Real Ale, Ikari Brewing’s Irish Red and Scottish Brown Real Ale, and Coedo Brewery’s Marihana, tying together Japanese brewing with British pub traditions.

The core lineup was just as broad: Guinness, Heineken, Hoegaarden, Magners Cider, Hogan’s Original Draught Cider, St Austell Tribute Pale Ale, and O’Hara’s 51st State IPA. The post also mentioned a live broadcast of the women’s Volleyball Nations League match between Japan and Brazil, and the food list included oysters, steak and kidney pie, Guinness roast pork, and salmon-and-kale rigatoni. It is the kind of place that works both for casual pints and for group reservations such as welcome/farewell parties or private events.
