The Grafton Beer Pub & Restaurant, in the west exit area of Gotanda Station, released its tap lineup for April 4. The highlight this time was the addition of Teenage Brewing's "SHOHEI Zen IPA" and Unbarred Brewery's "Pale Be Back" as new guest draft craft beers. Centered on Japanese and British breweries, the lineup offers a wide range of styles.
Alongside regulars Guinness, Heineken, Hoegaarden, and Magners Cider, the day's draft craft beer and cider selection also included Sankt Gallen's "YOKOHAMA XPA Real Ale", Ikari Brewing's "Irish Red", Ikari Brewing's "Scottish Brown Real Ale", Coedo Brewery's "Mabana", Sure Shot's "Shh. . It's Just Magic", Sheppy's "200 CIDER", Riot Beer’s "Salvation", and Humans Beer’s "SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER". From IPA and pale ale to real ale, brown ale, and cider, it is an easy lineup to choose from depending on your mood.
The food menu is also well stocked, with items such as steak and kidney pie, fresh oysters from Ofunato, Iwate, falafel, bonito tataki salad, spicy grilled pork tongue, buffalo wings, rigatoni with gorgonzola sauce, and pork offal curry. Pairing pub food with the changing taps is part of what makes the place appealing.
In addition, the venue was scheduled to screen the FA Cup quarterfinal between Manchester City and Liverpool at 8:30 p.m. For anyone in Gotanda wanting to enjoy beer and football at the same time, it was a lineup hard to miss.
