According to the announcement published by Setouchi Brewery (SETOUCHI BEER) on Instagram, the new series is scheduled to launch in April 2026. The post presented the concept of "traveling through the diverse personalities of hops".

The core of this explanation is the expression of hops, which are essential to brewing beer. Elements such as bright citrus-like aromas, floral aromatics that spread gently, and a pleasant bitterness are described in terms of travel destinations and landscapes. In the series, each release will focus on a single hop, with the plan to deliver one beer that puts that hop's individuality at the center. At this point, the series name and details of the hops to be used have not yet been disclosed, and they will be announced later.

As of the March 10, 2026 post, the data showed "93 likes / 0 comments." The scale of the response is still small for now, but the content goes beyond a simple teaser for a new release and instead points toward the brewery's future storytelling.

Setouchi Brewery is based in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, and promotes craft beer making rooted in the culture and climate of the Seto Inland Sea region. According to official information, it handles everything from planning and brewing to packaging in-house, and in addition to online sales it also operates a TAPROOM & SHOP. As a brewery that places importance on regional character, this new series, which continuously focuses on the hops themselves, is likely to attract attention as an effort to deepen expression from the Seto Inland Sea area.

Which hop will be chosen for the first release in April? How will the aroma design be drawn? We look forward to the next update.
