Hansharo Beer Brewing releases Kyou mo Manten in carbonated and Nitro versions
Hansharo Beer Brewing, based in Izunokuni, Shizuoka, has released its Beer Girl collaboration Hazy IPA, Kyou mo Manten, in two versions: a standard carbonated release and a Nitro version. The beer centers on passion fruit and the PINK hop.
Collaboration background
Hansharo Beer Brewing is a microbrewery in Izunokuni, Shizuoka. This release builds on Kyou mo Manten, a collaboration with Beer Girl, and is being offered in two versions: a standard carbonated edition and a Nitro edition.
The project began with planning sessions involving beer fans and moved on to a brew day at Hansharo Beer Brewing’s own brewery. That process gave the beer a participatory character, with drinkers helping shape the final concept.
Flavor design
The base beer is a Hazy IPA centered on passion fruit. It uses the latest hop variety, PINK, along with DIPHOP techniques to create a fragrant, juicy profile with tropical and berry-like notes.
The Nitro version replaces carbon dioxide with nitrogen gas, creating finer bubbles and a softer mouthfeel. The brewery describes it as a reward-style Nitro Hazy IPA for the end of a busy or tiring day.
A Hansharo Beer Brewing beer
Based in a city known for the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace, Hansharo Beer Brewing often pairs local identity with careful brewing detail. Kyou mo Manten follows that approach, offering a comparison between the regular carbonated version and the Nitro version that changes both texture and finish.
