Ise Kadoya Beer Announces "Spring IPA Festival 2026," Packed with Six IPAs
Ise Kadoya Beer introduced the online set "Spring IPA Festival 2026," a collection of six kinds of IPA. In addition to its standard Neko series, the lineup also includes a collaboration beer with VERTERE, making it a tasting set where you can compare the character of each hop.
Ise Kadoya Beer, based in Ise City, Mie, announced "Spring IPA Festival 2026" on its online shop. The set consists of six 350 ml cans plus a booklet, priced at 5,500 yen (tax included). As a project centered on IPAs to enjoy in spring, it is designed so you can experience the brewery's wide-ranging hop use all at once.
This set includes Hop Nyaon 11th Fleet, Neko Sanbiki, Neko Nihiki, Neko Shikashinjinai, Brain-Melting Ultra Heaven 3xIPA, and Another Cut. The lineup brings together six IPAs with different aims, including DDH Hazy IPA, TDH Opaque Triple IPA, American style Triple IPA, and Hazy IPA, making it notable for packing together distinct approaches within the IPA style.
Among them, Another Cut is a collaboration with VERTERE of Okutama, Tokyo. It is introduced as a hazy IPA that brings out the aroma of selected Strata hops. Ise Kadoya Beer traces its roots to Nikenchaya Kadoya Mochiten, a business in Ise with about 440 years of history, and has continued brewing under the banner of "From Ise to the world." Backed by the history of a long-established local business, the brewery continues to expand its expression even in contemporary styles such as IPA.
IPA is a style prized for hop-derived aroma and bitterness, but in Ise Kadoya Beer's lineup, even within IPAs there are differences in aroma, body, and crispness. This spring set seems like a project that lets you look at the hop expression the brewery does best from three angles: standard, limited, and collaboration.
