A look inside the brewery in Musashi-Nakahara

Key Brewery, based in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki, will hold a brewery tour at its Musashi-Nakahara taproom, CAGHIYA TAP ROOM. According to the Instagram post, the event is scheduled for Sunday, July 5, from 11:00 to 13:00. The participation fee is 5,500 yen per person, tax included, and the tour is reservation only. Guests are asked to book by sending their name and number of attendees via DM or the official LINE account.

The program is more than a simple facility visit. The announcement says the tour will include a brewery walkthrough, a craft beer lecture, unlimited beer tasting, and conversation with the brewers. In other words, it is designed to show how beer is made, from ingredients and tools to the choices that shape flavor.

Key Brewery’s official website says the company handcrafts and sells original beer in Kawasaki, aiming to create connections between people through beer. Its Musashi-Nakahara venue is a taproom attached to the brewery, which makes it a natural setting for a tour focused on the brewing process and the finished beer.

For beer fans, the appeal is clear: it offers a chance to connect what is in the glass with what happens in the brewhouse. For newcomers, it is also a practical way to learn the basics, from hops and bitterness to the differences between styles, while seeing the actual equipment and ingredients up close.
